A guitar design contest is also being held! Your design might become a Fender Made in Japan Telecaster®!
As a special feature of “FENDER EXPERIENCE 2025,” the “Fender Guitar Design Contest” will be held! From the guitar body designs submitted to the contest, the selected design will actually be turned into an originalFender Made in Japan Telecaster®.It will be produced.
Participants will design Fender’s iconic model, the “Telecaster®.” However, only the top surface of the body can be designed, and entries must be flat, original designs. Three-dimensional customizations or modifications to parts or performance are not allowed.
Applications can be submitted either online or by mail. There are no age or experience requirements—this is an event open to everyone, whether professional or amateur.
The application period runs from Tuesday, June 24, 2025, to Friday, August 22, 2025. The results will be announced at the “FENDER EXPERIENCE 2025” venue.

Workshops & Interactive Booths
Master Builders from Fender Custom Shop visit Japan! Four master builders and a master pickup winder who makes pickups by hand will be coming from Fender Custom Shop, which boasts the world's highest level of craftsmanship.
The Master Builders and Master Pickup Winders who will be visiting Japan are as follows

During the event, these Fender Custom Shop masters will hold special workshopsand open order eventswith the artists.
In addition, the highlight of the event will be a custom order session held in a private space. A special custom order session is also planned,where you can order your very own dream piece while receiving advice directlyfrom the master builder.
Lottery reservations for the custom order session are expected to be held around July 2025.

FENDER EXPERIENCE 2025 will be held over three days in the Omotesando and Harajuku areas in the heart of Tokyo.

The main attraction of “FENDER EXPERIENCE 2025” is the opportunity to try out high-end custom guitars that you would not normally be able to touch, while admission is free (some events charge a fee and require advance reservations).
Numerous splendid artists will be participating, but the best part is that you can not only watch and listen to them, but also learn and experience them through workshops and consultations. Please enjoy the holiday with your family and friends and immerse yourself in the world of music and musical instruments presented by Fender!
Visitors can see Fender Custom Shop's top-of-the-line guitars and basses up close and try them out for themselves.
Live performances, talk sessions and workshops by artists will be held.
There are also special sessions by master builders, custom order consultations, and other contents that are rarely experienced.
Artists from different genres and generations will take the stage and perform.

All three venues are located close to train stations for easy access.
- Omotesando Hills Main B3F Space O: Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda Line, Hanzomon Line and Ginza Line2 minutes walk from “Omotesando Station” Exit A2
- Laforet Museum Harajuku: Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda Line and Fukutoshin Line1 minute walk from Exit 5 of “Meiji-jingumae Station”.
- Fender Flagship Tokyo: Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda Line and Fukutoshin Line2 minutes walk from “Meiji-jingumae Station”.
All three venues are about a one- to two-minute walk from Meiji-jingumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda and Fukutoshin Lines. The closest station to Omotesando Hills Main Building is Omotesando Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda and Ginza Lines, but it is also about a 3-minute walk from Exit 5 of Meiji-jingumae Station.

FENDER EXPERIENCE 2025 is a free admission event, though,Some programs are charged and require advance reservations,Therefore, please check the official website for the latest information.
Expect crowds at the guitar/bass test and consultation areas. You can shift the time slots or line up early, but please be sure to check the official website, as such activities as lining up early in the morning may be prohibited.
Since the venue is divided into three locations, it is advisable to check in advance for easy traffic flow to and from the venue, as well as rest areas.
