What is BORUTO?

BORUTO -TWO BLUE VORTEX-" is a sequel to the popular manga "NARUTO" by Masashi Kishimoto.

The hero of the story is the son of Uzumaki Naruto, the seventh Hokage.Uzumaki Borutois the son of Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage. The story follows a new generation of shinobi who grew up in the modern ninja world.

The "Boruto" manga began serialization in 2016, with stories written by Masashi Kishimoto and drawn by Mikio Ikemoto.

The work is largely divided into two stories: Part 1 "BORUTO -NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS-" and Part 2 "BORUTO -TWO BLUE VORTEX-".

Part 1: The Story of Boruto -NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS-

The first part, "Boruto -NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS-," is set in the peaceful world of Shinobi,Uzumaki Naruto's son Boruto and the new generation ofThe growth of the company will be depicted.

Boruto has mixed feelings about the fact that his father is too busy as a hikage to see him, but he experiences shinobi missions and battles alongside Uchiha Sarada, Mitsuki, and other friends.

As the story progresses, the presence of the Kawaki and the Otsutsuki clan has a major impact on the world of shinobi, and Boruto and his friends gradually become involved in a major battle.

Part 2: The Story of BORUTO -TWO BLUE VORTEX-

Part 2, "BORUTO -TWO BLUE VORTEX-," will be based on the events of Part 1.The world about 3 years later.The story is set in a time when the balance of the shinobi world has drastically changed.

Naruto and Hinata are sealed in a different space by Kawaki, and Eida's ability rewrites the world's memories. As a result, the positions of Boruto and Kawaki are reversed, and Boruto becomes a hunted enemy of Konoha no Sato.

With the reappearance of the grown-up Boruto, new battles and incidents begin to unfold and the story takes off.

Major characters in BORUTO

The "Boruto" series features many characters that have been around since Naruto's time, as well as a new generation of Shinobi. Here is a brief introduction to the main characters who are central to the story. If there is a character you are interested in, please also see the spoiler articles for each volume.

Uzumaki Boruto

The protagonist of the series. He is the son of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, and a shinobi who grew up in Konohagakure, the Konoha no Sato. Although he is energetic and deeply cares about his friends, he also has complicated feelings about his father, who is always busy with his duties as Hokage.

In Part 2, "BORUTO -Two Blue Vortex-," an incident forces him to leave the village, and he reappears at the center of the story as a much more mature shinobi.

Kawaki

A boy who was first introduced as someone connected to the organization known as Kara.

After being taken in by Naruto, he begins living in the Konoha no Sato and gradually changes through his interactions with Boruto and others. However, as the story progresses, his relationship with Boruto changes dramatically, and he becomes one of the most important figures in Part 2 of the story.

Uchiha Sarada

The daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. She is a shinobi on the same team as Boruto and Mitsuki. Sarada is known for her calm judgment and strong sense of responsibility, and she deeply values her friends.

She aims to become Hokage in the future and plays an important role in the story as she grows stronger while inheriting the power of the Sharingan.

Mitsuki

A boy created by Orochimaru who belongs to the same team as Boruto. He has a calm personality and considers Boruto to be someone special.

Mitsuki possesses high combat ability and frequently supports his teammates during battles and missions as he continues to grow as a shinobi.
