“Apex Legends” is going country versus country. That raises the obvious question: Which countries and territories will compete, and who will represent them? This article tracks all 40 teams competing in the Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC), including the countries and territories they represent, their national team players, the organizations those players normally compete for, and their qualification routes, with updates based on official announcements.

39 of 40 Apex Legends ENC 2026 Slots Are Now Confirmed

On August 4, 2026, the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) announced that the regional online qualifiers for the “Apex Legends” division had concluded, and the 39 teams advancing to the ENC Finals had been determined.

The announcement confirmed the rosters representing the 20 countries and territories with Guaranteed Representation, the 18 countries and territories that advanced through the regional online qualifiers, and Saudi Arabia, which secured the Host Region Wildcard.

As a result, 39 of the 40 slots have now been confirmed. The only remaining spot is the Solidarity Slot, which will be awarded by ENC through a review process.

The 39 teams and national rosters listed here are based on the ENC’s official announcement published on August 4, 2026.

ENC Finals Qualification Spots

Guaranteed Representation is a system that guarantees spots in the ENC Finals for 20 countries and territories based on ALGS Year 6 Championship Points. While the spots for these countries and territories were guaranteed, the actual rosters representing them were determined through regional online qualifiers held from August 1 to 3.

Apex Legends ENC 2026 Teams and National Rosters

As of August 4, 2026, the 39 countries and territories competing in the ENC Finals, along with their rosters, have been officially announced. The remaining spot will be determined through the Solidarity Slot.

*Countries and territories are listed by qualifier region; the order does not indicate ranking. The national team player names are based on the ENC’s official announcement dated August 4, 2026. Information on each player’s current team or organization will be added as it is confirmed through official ALGS sources and announcements from the relevant clubs. The organizations listed in the “Current Team / Organization” column appear in the same order as the players in the “National Team Players” column.

The 18 spots from the regional online qualifiers and the single Host Region Wildcard spot have already been determined. The Host Region Wildcard spot was awarded to Saudi Arabia, which had the highest qualifying results among the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) member states that had not secured a spot in the main event through the standard qualification process.

Only one Solidarity Slot remains. It will be awarded to a country or territory that is underrepresented at the ENC Finals, based on factors including competitive performance in the qualifiers, regional representation, and potential for future growth. Applications close on August 16, 2026, and the final selection result is expected to be communicated by the end of August.

The 20 Countries and Territories Guaranteed a Finals Slot

Broken down by qualifier region, the 20 countries and territories with Guaranteed Representation include nine from EMEA, five from APAC South, four from the Americas, and two from APAC North.

For each country or territory with Guaranteed Representation, the highest-finishing eligible roster from that country or territory in the online qualifiers earned the right to represent it at the ENC Finals. As officially announced on August 4, 2026, the representative rosters for all 20 eligible countries and territories have been finalized.

In other words, countries and territories such as Japan and the United States had already secured Finals slots, but their representatives were determined by the highest-finishing eligible roster from each country or territory in the regional online qualifiers.

18 Teams Advancing Through the Regional Online Qualifiers

In addition to the 20 slots allocated through Guaranteed Representation, 18 countries and territories secured spots in the ENC Finals based on their performance in the regional online qualifiers. These slots were awarded to eligible rosters from countries and territories without Guaranteed Representation that finished high enough in their respective regional qualifiers.

Even if multiple teams from the same country or territory finished near the top, only one team per country or territory could advance to the ENC Finals. Countries and territories with Guaranteed Representation were excluded from the 18 additional slots. EA reviewed the regional qualifier standings from the top down and allocated the slots to different countries and territories without Guaranteed Representation.

Regional Qualifier Teams

From the regional online qualifiers, teams from 9 countries and territories in EMEA, 6 in the Americas, and 3 in APAC South advanced to the ENC Finals. The national rosters for each country and territory are listed in the teams and national rosters table above.

Two Wildcard Slots

Of the 40 teams, the final two spots will be determined through the wild-card process administered by ENC. Of these, the host region spot has been awarded to Saudi Arabia, leaving one Solidarity spot remaining.

Saudi Arabia secured the host region slot because, among the GCC member states that had not qualified for the main tournament through the standard qualification process, it achieved the best results in the regional online qualifiers.

Applications for the Solidarity Slot will be accepted until August 16, 2026, and will be evaluated based on competitive performance in the qualifying rounds, the representation of countries and territories within the ENC as a whole, regional characteristics, and future growth potential. The results of the final selection are scheduled to be announced at the end of August.

What to Look for in the National Rosters

ENC national teams are not simply existing professional teams rebranded as country representatives. Each national roster must follow ENC-specific composition rules.

Three to Four Players Representing the Same Country or Territory

Each team consists of three or four eligible players representing the same country or territory. Teams may also register one non-playing coach.

Up to Two Players from the Same ALGS Roster

A national team may include no more than two players from the same ALGS Year 6 Split 1 Pro League roster. This means that an existing professional team’s full lineup cannot enter unchanged as a national team.

Players who usually compete for different teams may come together to represent the same country or territory, creating an ENC-exclusive “dream team.”

Current Team Affiliations Also Matter

A country or territory and a list of player names alone do not reveal what makes a roster distinctive.

Looking at each player’s current team or organization, ALGS role, and international experience makes it easier to understand the roster’s strengths and the reasoning behind its composition.

Japan's Apex Legends ENC 2026 National Team Has Been Selected

On August 4, 2026, 4rufa, Mike, and Axis were officially announced as Japan’s national roster for the Apex Legends competition.

The three players competed in the APAC North Online Qualifier under the name “REJECT DIVISION.” The roster combines 4rufa and Axis from REJECT with Mike from ZETA DIVISION.

Eighteen Japanese teams and two Korean teams advanced to the finals of the APAC North Qualifiers. While Korea’s “melting face” won the overall tournament, REJECT DIVISION finished in second place and, as the highest-ranked Japanese team, secured the right to represent Japan. They recorded a total of 41 kills across six matches.

Team Japan Roster

The official ENC Team Japan page lists the National Team Partner, National Team Manager, and supporting organizations. These details describe the structure supporting Japan across the ENC as a whole; they do not identify the national roster for the Apex Legends competition.

National Teams to Watch

With 39 national rosters now announced, we can see more clearly how each country and territory has combined its players.

ENC’s official announcement particularly highlights Australia’s roster of Genburten, Zer0, and Wxltzy. Zer0 and Genburten previously competed together at the highest level with DarkZero, and the addition of Wxltzy creates a formidable lineup. Australia secured its national team spot by finishing just one point ahead of rival roster PLS in the qualifier.

The U.S. national team consists of three players: sauceror, Sikezz, and Panic. With a lineup featuring Sikezz and Panic from Team Liquid and sauceror from ROC Esports, the team significantly increased its point total in the Americas Qualifier finals to secure a spot in the main event.

The Japanese national team is also a mixed squad consisting of 4rufa and Axis from REJECT, along with Mike from ZETA DIVISION. Rather than simply fielding existing pro teams as-is, new lineups are being formed for each country and territory—a feature that makes the ENC truly unique.

• Does the roster include players with a high number of ALGS Championship Points?
• Does it include players with international tournament experience?
• Do the players’ roles complement one another?
• Have any of the players competed together before?
• How well does the roster reflect its region’s playstyle?

Simply assembling famous players does not necessarily create a strong team. Just as important as who was selected is why these three or four players came together. That is one of the most interesting ways to follow the ENC.

When will the participating teams be finalized?

The main schedule and current status are as follows.

An official announcement on August 4, 2026, revealed the 39 countries and territories and their national team rosters. The full lineup of 40 teams will be finalized once the selection result for the remaining Solidarity Slot is announced.

Up until now, the "Apex Legends" competitive scene has primarily focused on which pro team would win.

At the ENC, players who normally compete under different team banners will come together to represent the same country or territory. Unlike teams that have spent years building chemistry, they must develop new roles and strategies within a limited amount of time.

Will a country packed with star players simply win? Or will a well-rounded roster defy the pre-tournament predictions?

The 39 countries and territories, along with the players representing them, have been announced. Only one Solidarity Slot remains. Once all 40 teams are in place, the full picture of the new “Apex Legends” to be unveiled at ENC 2026 will be complete.
