The ALGS is an international tournament where the best teams from each region compete throughout the year to determine the world champion. The Apex Legends™ Global Series Year 5 Championship will proceed in the following order: group stage (January 15-16, 2026), bracket stage (January 17, 2026), and finals (January 18, 2026).
The group stage will divide the 40 teams into four groups, Groups A-D, which will play a single six-match series against all other groups.
The top teams move on to the bracket stage to determine the teams that will advance to the finals. The teams that advance to the finals will play a match point style final to determine the champion.
