「“Blue Exorcist,”is a popular shonen manga serialized since 2009, telling the story of Rin Okumura, born as the child of the demon king “Satan,” who aims to become an exorcist alongside his twin brother Yukio. Its enduring popularity is evident in the wide range of projects regularly produced, including anime, feature films, games, stage plays, and original art exhibitions.
This special exhibition is a collaboration between Kanda Myojin and Blue Exorcist, made possible through the connection established during the 2024 event “Blue Exorcist Summer Ghost Stories: Rin Okumura’s Midnight Solo Mission,” held at the Kanda Myojin Hall. The event poster featuring Rin Okumura was specially illustrated by the manga’s author, Kazue Kato.
The special exhibition “Oni-Kami: Yokai Haraenogu – Exploring Japanese Folklore and Deities through Blue Exorcist” by Blue Exorcist and Kanda Myojin featuresoriginal collaboration illustrations and reproductions of original artwork from Blue Exorcist,in addition torare historical materials preserved at Kanda Myojin(such as Kojiki, Nihon Shoki, Ganso Daishi Omikuji-sho, Gekko Zuisetsu – Kusanagi Sword, and various ritual prayers for gods).

The game AlternaWelt: Blue Exorcist Gaiden, developed by the Japanese entertainment company Aniplex, was released on June 25, 2025.
This is a free-to-playIt is a 3D action RPG available on smartphones and Windows, where the original setting, “Seitoji Academy Town,” is faithfully recreated in 3D, allowing players to enjoy immersive battles.
Players take on the role of exorcists, undertaking missions alongside Rin Okumura and Yukio. Original characters also appear, andplayers can switch control between co-op characters.The story is fully voiced and completely original, offering content that will satisfy even fans of the original series.
